Jackie says:

“Light is the sole fundamental behind all visual art. Visual art has to start with light and the absence of light, before mark making.

As a fine artist, I have been working for over three years and for over a year solely in Virtual Reality most particularly in Tiltbrush but also exporting Tiltbrush work into Augmented Reality and Adobe Mixamo. This is a means of creating in light digitally but is dependent on either the viewer having a VR headset, the artwork being transformed into a video or transferred into Augmented Reality.

I would love the opportunity to explore alternative means to develop the Virtual Reality work that I am currently doing and as such am very interested in working with Light-a medium that I have thoroughly enjoyed experiencing in former Lumen, LIT and Light Waves festivals. It would fill my gap in  knowledge, skills and experience, enabling me to conceive and create the powerful immersive experiences and environments that I am striving to deliver and expand the breadth of collaborative and community art opportunities available to me.”
